Sometimes an idea pops into my head for a song, and so I'll make that song. Such was not the case with "No Lullaby".

The idea for this song popped into my head maybe 4 or 5 years ago, and I jotted it down into my notes on my phone as a potentially cool song idea, and then I never got around making it.

UNTIL NOW

The idea is that the song starts with a subversive melodic melody played by a music box, just like a lullaby to lull a wee baby to neverland. But we're not wee babies, we're full-grown people who like to stay up and get wasted, so the song builds from something peaceful into eventually a full-blown high-energy house song with saw synth main melodies and a crunchy melodic bassline to accompany it.
